Your double page spread is good i enjoyed reading the article a lot of your reader would be able to relate to this its a good way to portray you target audience. I liked the way you made the quotes/ important bits red which makes it stand out and the way you added a quote from the article on the page with the image of the cover star largely to make it stand out, i don't like the fact that you made the background of the page black which makes it look less professional. also I liked the fact that you added the cover stars social media names and the free give-away on the page.
